Job summary

Thumbtack is seeking a Manager, Launch and Growth Operations to lead a portfolio of strategic initiatives across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, and Legal. You’ll manage a globally distributed team spanning the U.S.

and the Philippines, turning high-potential opportunities into durable business capabilities. You will drive go-to-market strategies, improve performance and economics, and evolve partner-facing systems to scale partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in strategy and operations, business operations, program management, general management, management consulting, or related field.
• 2+ years of people-management experience, with ability to set direction, develop talent, and lead a team of operators.
• Experience translating ambiguous opportunities into clear strategies, operating plans, and measurable results.
• Track record of leading complex initiatives from concept through execution, with accountability when results fall short.
• Strong business judgment and analytical rigor to assess performance, economics, tradeoffs, and investments.
• Clear, influential communication, ability to align diverse stakeholders and influence without authority.
• Owner mentality, learning agility, bias for action, and collaborative leadership.
