Job summary

Thumbtack is seeking a Sr. Manager of Success Operations to own strategy, tooling, and processes across Frontline teams, Partnerships, and the Experiments function. You will shape AI-enabled workflows and determine when manual work is appropriate, building scalable processes from the ground up.

You will lead a team of senior analysts, partner across Product, Data Science, and Finance, and drive initiatives that improve marketplace outcomes while forecasting staffing and capacity needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading customer/success operations at scale.
• Ability to build new operating motions from the ground up.
• Track record of turning ambiguous problems into executable plans.
• Experience in a two-sided marketplace or gig economy context.
• Strong quantitative skills and model sanity checks.
• Hands-on delivery of AI-enabled workflows in ops.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders with data.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy, tooling, and outcome goals for growth areas in Success Operations.
• Serve as liaison to Partnerships, translating commitments into frontline execution.
• Lead cross-functional execution across Success, Partnerships, Product, Data Science, and Finance.
• Oversee supply health model, dashboards, and pricing/job-fit levers.
• Own headcount planning, capacity forecasting, and executive narratives.
• Set test-and-learn strategy for fulfillment approaches and AI workflows.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of senior ICs and analysts.
