Job summary

Thumbtack is seeking a product leader to shape growth for larger, more sophisticated pros. You will own vision, strategy, and roadmap, and partner with engineering, design, data science, marketing, sales, and partnerships to unlock scale.

You’ll translate ambiguous opportunities into clear product plans, prioritize API and integration work, and drive adoption from discovery through launch. This role offers a collaborative, AI‑driven environment with meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience with a track record of owning complex product areas.
• Experience turning ambiguous, early stage opportunities into clear product strategies.
• Strong technical fluency and experience with APIs, data, integrations and system tradeoffs.
• Excellent product judgment and customer empathy to simplify complex workflows.
• Strong analytical thinking and business acumen to identify growth opportunities.
• An AI-first mindset with curiosity and practical use of agentic AI workflows.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for unlocking growth among larger, more sophisticated pros, with accountability for customer and business outcomes.
• Develop understanding of pros' operations using research and data to identify unmet needs and opportunities.
• Set strategy for APIs, data integrations, and partner offerings with partnerships and business development.
• Lead new products from discovery through launch and adoption for complex businesses.
• Collaborate with engineering to balance near-term opportunities with durable technical foundations.
• Coordinate across engineering, design, data science, marketing, sales, and partnerships to execute on priorities.
• Define success, test ideas, and scale experiences and growth levers that deliver results.
