Job summary

AgentMail is seeking a growth-focused data engineer in San Francisco to instrument funnels, enrich signups, and build dashboards treated as the company"s source of truth. You will run experiments across the PLG engine and connect the data stack via APIs to move data between PostHog, CRM, and outbound tools. Bring a CS or data science background and hands-on Python/SQL.

You will own the stack, ship internal AI tools, and help define scalable growth processes for a fast-moving startup.

Qualifications

• CS, data science, or equivalent background.
• Proficient in Python/TypeScript/SQL, and API wiring.
• Experience with PLG growth or growth engine concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the growth data layer end to end: instrument funnels, enrich signups, and build dashboards as truth.
• Turn top customers into repeat growth, using lookalike modeling and outbound plays.
• Run experiments across PLG channels (content, integrations, backlinks, paid).
• Connect the data stack via APIs and automation so data moves between tools smoothly.
• Own the stack and ship AI-powered internal tooling from prototype to rollout.
