Job summary

Basis is seeking a Growth Engineer to own the go-to-market engine from architecture to experiments. You’ll build the systems that power outbound, automation, and data flows across CRM, marketing, finance, and support.

Working with the Head of Sales, you’ll design the stack, run paid channels, and embed AI workflows to boost pipeline velocity. This greenfield role is based in NYC and offers hands-on, fast-paced collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in Growth/Revenue Ops or related roles with ownership of outcomes
• Hands-on GTM tooling experience: CRM configuration, automation, sequencing platforms
• Proven track record running outbound or paid acquisition motions at early-stage companies
• Technical depth to read/write SQL, work with APIs, and build lightweight automations
• High agency, low ego and strong cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Own the GTM stack end-to-end: architecture, data model, automation, and evolution across pipeline
• Build and run outbound infrastructure: tooling, sequencing, data pipelines, delivery and tracking
• Design the integration layer: connect CRM to marketing automation, financial systems, data warehouse, and support tooling
• Run paid acquisition experiments: stand up and optimize paid channels with fast iteration
• Embed AI: AI-powered workflows for enrichment, scoring, pipeline visibility, and productivity
