Job summary

Hancock Whitney seeks a Business Banker to proactively grow and deepen relationships with small business clients and provide tailored banking solutions including deposits, treasury and credit products. You will visit businesses, conduct outreach, and participate in community seminars to expand the client base and strengthen market presence.

You will collaborate with internal partners to meet client needs, plan portfolio growth, and stay informed on competitive offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2-4 years of experience as a Business Banker.
• Proven ability to meet sales goals, including credit products and referrals from internal partners.
• Proactive sourcing, acquiring, building and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Follows the sales management process to generate high quality new deposits and loan business.
• Meets with clients and prospects to discuss business needs and offer solutions.
• Assists in planning portfolio growth aligned with departmental budget and asset/liability goals.
• Coordinates with internal partners to meet client needs and goals.
• Maintains knowledge of competitors' products and pricing in the market.
