Job summary

Hancock Whitney in Houston seeks an experienced Commercial Banker to manage and expand a portfolio of business relationships while developing new clients. You will grow revenue by prospecting and by delivering needs-based financial solutions, coordinating with product, treasury, and underwriting teams to meet client objectives.

The role requires deep knowledge of credit and non-credit banking products, plus strong financial analysis and credit underwriting skills to maintain portfolio quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 8–10 years of relationship management experience selling banking products.
• Extensive knowledge of credit and non-credit products.
• Proficient in credit underwriting and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of commercial loan products & lending/compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Solicits new loan and deposit relationships for the Bank.
• Develops a business development plan to achieve goals and objectives.
• Identifies cross-sell opportunities and markets a broad range of financial products.
• Builds internal relationships to enhance banking relationships and meet objectives.
• Provides guidance to junior bankers on bank products, credit standards, and pricing.
