Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Market Development Representative in Stockton, CA. You will partner with off-premise locations to drive volume and distribution for our diverse spirits portfolio, connecting consumers with favorite brands and building lasting relationships with customers and distributors.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), at least 1 year of field sales experience (CPG/alcohol preferred), strong data-driven selling skills, and a willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries; new grads with internships/sales experience welcome.
• Proven ability to achieve volume, distribution, and promotional goals.
• Demonstrated use of sales data analytics and tools to drive results.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within territory; live near the territory.

Responsibilities

• Craft growth-driven solutions for assigned accounts and boost brand share.
• Build brands by using consumer/category trends to educate customers and drive sales.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
• Help achieve volume objectives for core brands in the portfolio.
• Plan and execute programs for distribution, merchandising, and promotions.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and key wholesalers.
