Job summary

Sazerac Company seeks a Market Development Representative to partner with off-premise locations and achieve volume goals across its diverse spirits portfolio. You will lead growth initiatives, educate customers on brand trends, and coordinate with distributors to execute in-store programs in your territory.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), at least 1 year in field sales for alcohol/CPG, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of professional field sales in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries.
• New graduates should have sales/marketing internship or sales experience.
• Proven volume achievements and ability to deliver on distribution and retail goals.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Crafting growth solutions for assigned accounts to boost market share.
• Brand building using consumer/category trends to educate customers and drive sales.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing and account execution.
• Work to achieve volume objectives for core brands in the portfolio.
• Implement programs targeting distribution, merchandising, and retail promotions.
• Build mutually valuable rapport with customers by understanding needs.
• Serve as communication lead between customers, wholesalers and internal teams.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure goals are met.
