Cengage Group in the United States is seeking an Account Manager to grow revenue within an assigned geographic area, focusing on existing partners to meet revenue goals across product lines, coordinating with ed2go Business Development, Workforce, and Marketing teams.

The AM will build strong partner relationships, manage forecasts in Salesforce, and travel to key accounts; a 4-year degree and 2+ years B2B sales are expected. Base pay ranges from $46,400 to $74,200 with variable incentives.

Qualifications

4-year college degree required.
Minimum 2 years of inside business-to-business (B2B) sales experience.
2 years of channel sales marketing experience.
Proven track record of territorial development and growth.
Self-starter, standout colleague, critical thinker, can-do attitude.
Strong telephone, written and verbal communication skills.
Above average digital literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce.
Online research experience and proficiency.

Responsibilities

Provide daily partner support by responding to new sales leads and existing partner requests.
Maintain Salesforce data entry and integrity, and generate accurate revenue forecasts.
Collaborate with business development managers to target and exceed regional sales revenue goals.
Develop an account management plan for the region and review with leadership.
Hold frequent partner business reviews to increase territory revenue performance.
Identify selling opportunities and work with channel partners to position ed2go programs for students.
