Job summary

Global Partners LP is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to assist the general manager in day-to-day operations and uphold store standards in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes people leadership, cash control, inventory accuracy and promotional execution.

The ASM will supervise hourly staff, complete daily accounting tasks, manage cash procedures, and ensure safety and sanitation while delivering exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, train and discipline hourly employees, upholding operational standards.
• Monitor cash handling and inventory; assist investigations for minor variances.
• Maintain records and cashier accountability sheets as directed by GM/TM.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll and other admin duties per cash control policies.
• Manage cash deposits and change orders.
• Maintain store image standards and cleanliness.
• Ensure safety, security and environmental compliance; report issues as needed.
• Coordinate gasoline levels and deliveries; engage in promotional initiatives.
• Promote guest service excellence and follow company policies.
