Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (ASM) to support the General Manager in daily operations while upholding company policies. The role emphasizes supervising hourly staff, cash control, and maintaining store standards.

The ASM will assist with banking, payroll, and inventory tasks to ensure smooth operations. We value reliability, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to communicate, count, read and write accurately.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees.
• Monitor shift cash handling and inventory; investigate shortages/overages and small variances.
• Maintain business records and cashier accountability sheets as prescribed.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll and other admin duties per cash control policies.
• Manage cash deposits and change orders.
