Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the general manager in day-to-day operations while upholding company policies. As a Fortune 500 company with a long history, we emphasize people, community and sustainable growth.

The ASM will help manage cash, inventory, staffing and store standards to ensure a high level of guest service and operational excellence. The role requires 1–2 years of supervisory experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to

Qualifications

Must have 1–2 years supervisory experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
Ability to perform basic computer functions.
Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outside, cooler, etc.).

Responsibilities

Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees.
Monitor shift cash handling and inventory; investigate discrepancies.
Maintain business records and cashier accountability sheets.
Perform banking, invoicing, payroll and other admin duties per cash control policies.
Manage cash handling procedures including deposits and change orders.
Promote guest service and company promotional initiatives.
