Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (ASM) to support the general manager in day-to-day store operations, adhering to company policies. The ASM will oversee cash handling, inventory, staffing, and customer service to ensure safety, cleanliness and a welcoming shopping environment.

Candidates should have 1–2 years supervisory experience, reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to communicate, count, read and write accurately.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to communicate, count, read and write accurately.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Vocational or Technical Education High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees, holding them accountable for upholding operational standards.
• Monitors shift cash handling and inventory.
• Assist in investigations of shortages/overages and inventory variations.
• Maintain store image standards and promote guest service.
• Perform duties as required by company policies and procedures.
