Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the General Manager in daily store operations. This role emphasizes guest service, safety, cash handling, and staff supervision to uphold company standards.

The ASM will transmit daily accounting paperwork, oversee hourly employees, manage banking tasks, and ensure store cleanliness and promotional execution. Flexible hours and regional differences may apply as part of a large, long-standing retail network.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends or holidays.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures, outside, cooler, etc.
• Lift up to 25 lbs during a shift.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Vocational or Technical Education High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt (hourly) employees, holding them accountable for upholding operational standards.
• Monitors shift cash handling and inventory. Assists in investigations of shortages/overages of $100 per month or less as well as inventory variations of .5% of sales or less.
• Maintains business records, review cashier accountability sheets and records prescribed by the General Manager and or Territory Manager.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and/or other administrative duties as requested, adhering to all Global Partner's cash control policies.
• Manage cash management procedures including bank deposits and change orders.
• MaintainGrand Opening Ready Standards -According to Global Partner's store image standards.
• Maintains highlevels of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensures store is secure and safe; complieswith all safety and environmental guidelines.
• Report any issues to proper authority as well as management.
• Ensure adequate gasoline levels as well as coordinate gasoline deliveries.
• Engage in allcompany promotional initiatives.
• Promotes a high level ofguestservice.
• Perform duties as required by company policies and procedures (encompasses CompanyHandbook)and any other duties assigned by your General Manager/ Territory Manager.
