Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager in a fast-paced service environment. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and ensuring a safe, efficient, high-quality customer experience on the shop floor.

This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, training new team members, managing checkout and service flow, and acting as Manager on Duty when needed to keep the shop running smoothly.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
Serve as Manager on Duty when needed and coordinate workflow.
Model fast, friendly customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
Ensure services are completed accurately while reinforcing safety and service standards.
Train new team members and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
Complete opening and closing procedures and assist with inventory counts.
