Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help run a fast-paced service bay. You’ll support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and a welcoming, efficient customer experience, stepping in as Manager on Duty when needed.

Automotive experience is valued but not required; we provide paid hands-on training and opportunities to grow from shop roles into leadership through performance. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• At least 6 months of experience leading or mentoring others.
• Commitment to safety policies and practices.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Reliability and ability to stay calm during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily shop operations and inventory checks.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when the Shop Manager is unavailable.
• Provide real-time coaching and feedback to team members.
• Ensure services meet company standards and safety requirements.
• Support with opening/closing procedures and reporting.
