Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to support daily operations, lead a fast-paced team, and ensure a safe, efficient customer experience. You will step in as Manager on Duty, train staff, and help drive performance while maintaining Take 5 service standards.

Automotive experience is valued but not required; we provide paid hands-on training and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Commitment to following facility and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed and coordinate workflow.
• Train new team members and provide coaching and feedback.
• Support shop communications, reporting, and daily inventory tasks.
• Maintain safety and service standards on the shop floor.
