Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community on-site under the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and finances, ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.

The role requires regular onsite attendance, staff development, and strategic budgeting. You will be responsible for resident satisfaction, leasing strategies, and timely reporting to maintain NOI while delivering excellent

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor finances.
• Monitor deposits, rent collections, and charges; ensure timely reporting.
• Plan marketing strategies and resident retention programs.
• Supervise maintenance, leasing, and administrative tasks; ensure compliance with policies.

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years experience in housing industry

CAM/ARM certification preferred
