Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an on-site Community Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations of a housing community, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.

You will manage budgets, leasing, maintenance, and resident relations, while driving occupancy, NOI, and service excellence. The role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and vendor coordination in a fast‑paced on‑site environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; CAM or ARM preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Personnel Management and leadership of on-site staff.
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Coach and guide staff to meet training benchmarks.
• Prepare weekly/daily staff schedules and assignments.
• Address performance issues and coordinate with HR.
• Promote teamwork and high‑quality job performance.
• Ensure policy compliance and safety standards.
• Develop and monitor annual budgets/forecasts.
• Oversee rent collections, deposits, and vendor invoices timely.
• Lead marketing plans and leasing strategies.
• Handle resident complaints and retention programs.
• Maintain property appearance and coordinate repairs and inspections.
• Direct emergency response and ensure timely actions.
