Job summary

Eurofins Built Environment Testing seeks a seasoned Business Unit Manager (BUMa) for the Southern California team, located in Tustin, CA. The role leads the unit, owning P&L, driving growth, and aligning operations with corporate strategy. Travel up to 25% may be required.

The ideal candidate will reside in the LA metro area with 10+ years of leadership in a related lab/testing environment, MBA preferred, and a track record of revenue growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; MBA preferred.
• Extensive P&L management and senior leadership experience required.
• Strong financial acumen and negotiation skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business unit with accountability for sales, operations, profitability, people, and customer satisfaction.
• Own full P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and growth objectives.
• Drive commercial growth, sales strategy, proposals, and market development.
• Develop key customer relationships and ensure service commitments are met.
• Oversee operations, quality, logistics, and overall performance with focus on efficiency.
• Build and retain a high-performing team with clear expectations and development plans.
• Ensure staffing, training, and resource allocation to support current and future growth.
