Eurofins Built Environment Testing in Southern California seeks a Business Unit Manager (BUMa) to lead our Tustin operation. You will own the P&L, drive growth, manage a diverse team, and ensure service excellence across lab operations, quality, and client relations.

The role requires a strategic leader with financial acumen, strong communication, and a track record of delivering revenue and profitability improvements within a regulated testing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10+ years of leadership including full P&L
• MBA preferred
• Experience leading commercial growth and operational excellence to drive profitability and growth

Responsibilities

• Lead the business unit with accountability for sales, operations, profitability, people, and customer satisfaction
• Own the full P&L, budgets, forecasting, and growth objectives
• Drive commercial growth: sales strategy, proposals, pricing, contracts, and market development
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders
• Lead operational excellence across quality, logistics, and service delivery
• Build and retain a high-performing team with clear expectations and accountability
• Ensure staffing, training, and resources support current and future growth
• Monitor financial, commercial, and operational KPIs and take corrective action as needed
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory policies
• Collaborate with leadership to optimize capabilities and cross-sell opportunities
• Travel up to 25% as required and uphold safety standards
