Job summary

McKinnon Nissan is seeking a motivated BDC/customer service professional to engage customers by phone, email and online chat, answer questions and schedule dealership visits. The role emphasizes excellent communication, teamwork and a positive, competitive atmosphere within a family-owned dealership.

You will handle scheduling, follow-ups and data entry, helping customers with solutions and maintaining accurate records. This position offers growth opportunities and a friendly work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have previous role in BDC or strong customer service experience in retail
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Comfortable with technology and computers

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers via phone, email and chat to answer questions and schedule visits
• Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
• Log customer comments in the system
• Schedule follow-ups if no appointment is made
• Use scripts to schedule appointments and confirm them
• Post appointments to the appointment board and update records
• Reschedule no-show appointments and follow up on outcomes
• Coordinate with departments to confirm appointment outcomes
• Schedule future contact as needed
• Maintain accurate customer data in the database
• Aim to meet or exceed monthly goals
