Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development at our Miramar, FL location. You will assist with merchandise flow, opening/closing duties, and implementing corporate directives while maintaining a safe and welcoming store environment.

You will help supervise and train Store Associates, manage inventory and displays, and ensure promotions and cleanliness standards are met.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits).
• Support the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
