Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development in Naples, FL. The role covers assisting with daily store activities, helping customers, organizing merchandise, handling openings and closings, and processing corporate directives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, kneeling, and lifting

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process corporate directives including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and information requests
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and supervise Store Associates
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Keep store clean and presentable, including bathrooms, floors, and trash disposal
• Other duties as assigned by Store Manager
