Job summary

TitleMax in Delmar, DE is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, oversee customer service and risk management, and support growth across our network of brands.

You'll develop leadership skills by coaching team members, managing accounts, and driving performance in a fast-paced environment. This full-time role requires in-person attendance, weekend work, and a focus on compliance and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
• At least 3 months of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with phones, POS systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use during the workday.
• Background check required.
• Able to meet physical demands (standing up to 90% of the time; lift up to 25 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer success by offering financial services that fit their needs.
• Assess risk of financial transactions, evaluate, and process loan/pawn applications and related transactions.
• Complete daily call campaigns to market services and nurture customer relationships.
• Oversee account management and recovery processes with focus on customer service and loss prevention.
• Maintain customer information in the POS system with accuracy.
• Provide coaching and development to Customer Service Representatives.
• Maintain store appearance and security procedures; conduct audits and reports.
