Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking a Director of Business Development for the North Florida region (Jacksonville/Orlando) to drive new business for Membership Services and a mobile platform. You will collaborate with regional leaders to expand the brand in local markets and engage with home builders, developers, and financial institutions.

The role emphasizes hunter mentality, fast learning, independence, and high energy as you manage the full sales cycle and travel within the territory to close deals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a digital/data services business development/outside sales role.
• SaaS experience with focus on user acquisition.
• Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Hunter mentality, fast learner, independent, high energy.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Current and valid driver’s license; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business selling Zonda’s Membership Services and mobile platform to homebuilders, residential & commercial developers, financial institutions, and others.
• Develop and execute a sales plan for the territory.
• Record and maintain all meeting and pipeline information in Salesforce.com.
• Qualify leads and drive the full sales cycle from introductory calls to closing deals.
• Schedule and perform in person and web demonstrations.
• Embrace new technology and proficiency with multiple platforms.
• Travel within territory and industry conventions to close prospects.
