TA Dedicated is seeking a Director of Business Development in Eagan, MN, with the option for remote work for the right candidate outside the area. The role focuses on strategic outbound prospecting, qualifying inbound leads, and building a strong pipeline to drive new business.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in business development or sales leadership within trucking, transportation or logistics, plus a proven record of revenue growth and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Transportation and/or Logistics.
• 6+ years in business development or sales leadership within trucking/transport/logistics.
• track record of profitable revenue growth and exceeding targets.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, and prioritization in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent presentation, communication and business writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute outbound prospecting plans (calls, email, LinkedIn).
• Qualify and nurture inbound leads from marketing campaigns.
• Identify key accounts aligned with services and build a robust pipeline.
• Deliver persuasive presentations and manage sales cycle to close.
• Collaborate with marketing to optimize messaging and campaigns.
• Maintain CRM records and sales forecasts; perform other duties as assigned.
