Job summary

Zendesk is seeking a Senior Manager, Growth Analytics to lead a team of analysts and partner with PLG Product Managers and Engineers across the customer journey. The role shapes analytics strategy, operating model, and capabilities to improve product-led growth at scale.

You will drive measurement for the PLG funnel, engage deeply with complex questions, and mentor analysts to advance careers while delivering trusted insights to product teams.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in product analytics or growth analytics in a software or SaaS environment.
• Experience designing, measuring, or interpreting product experiments and A/B tests.
• Strong SQL skills with complex data sources.
• Experience using Python or R for statistical analysis or data preparation.
• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, or comparable data platforms is helpful.
• Ability to define meaningful metrics and measurement plans with Product and Engineering.
• Experience building dashboards and self-service reporting with metric layers.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Help leaders understand where the PLG journey is performing well and where friction exists.
• Build relationships across Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering and Data teams.
• Partner with PLG PMs and Engineers to define questions, hypotheses, goals, and metrics.
• Lead and develop a team of growth analysts with coaching and career growth support.
• Establish and evolve measurement for the PLG funnel from acquisition to expansion.
• Analyze customer behavior using segmentation, cohorts, funnels and retention methods.
• Design measurement plans for product initiatives and experiments.
• Improve product analytics with trusted metric definitions and dashboards.
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis, SQL, Python, and data documentation.
