Job summary

The Groups Coordinator at Arizona Science Center acts as the main liaison for groups, handling bookings, planning, and group communications to ensure a smooth visit experience. This role requires selling skills, exceptional customer service, and the ability to manage details for groups of 15 or more.

Hours are full time, Tue–Sat, with a pay rate of $17/hour. The position emphasizes teamwork with the Engagement Team and campus staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with guests and groups in a similar environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Diligent, able to work independently.
• Energetic, outgoing personality with strong communication.
• Presents professionally to groups of varying sizes.
• Able to handle schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Spanish language skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sales and bookings: meet or exceed attendance and revenue goals; process group requests; upsell add-on workshops.
• Group communication: respond to inquiries and confirm details for groups of 15+.
• Field trip arrival/departure: assist with opening procedures and greets.
• Internal collaboration: partner with engagement teams and guest experience staff.
• Support other duties as assigned to the Arizona Science Center.
