The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is seeking a Guest Services Assistant to warmly welcome visitors and support the Guest Services team in Tucson, AZ. The role involves cash handling, sales processing for admissions and memberships, and assisting guests with rentals and inquiries.

Flexible schedule includes weekends, holidays, and some evenings, with full-time, non-exempt status. Starting wage is $17.52 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package and a union agreement.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of cash-handling experience or training.
• Six months to one year of computer experience or familiarity with basic software.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Processes sales transactions including admission, membership, donations, and other items.
• Follows cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
• Assists guests with stroller and mobility device rentals.
• Acts as the primary Museum telephone operator and handles guest inquiries.
• Promotes a safe and sanitary work environment and assists with event support.
