Job summary

Onni Group of Companies is seeking a Group Sales Manager to generate business for our four Chicagoland properties: The Emily Hotel, Level Old Town, Level River North, and Level Fulton Market.

You will lead the sales team, secure group meetings and events, maintain key accounts, and drive ADR, occupancy, and RevPAR while collaborating with area leaders. This on-site role emphasizes in-person relationship building and market penetration.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree preferred.
• Minimum two years in sales capacity in a comparable hotel/resort.
• Experience in events, rooms, or reservations preferred.
• Technologically proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Research, solicit and generate new leads for group opportunities.
• Coordinate room, food & beverage and meeting space requirements.
• Enter and maintain account and booking information in Tripleseat.
• Communicate customer needs internally and work with other departments.
• Provide solutions that achieve and protect financial goals while strengthening relationships.
• Develop knowledge of hotel operations and policies.
• Implement a targeted strategic plan to penetrate specific markets as directed.
• Maximize use of promotion/distribution channels for group sales opportunities.
• Maintain client communications in Tripleseat with group status and BEOs.
• Create action plans on a quarterly basis and achieve outlined objectives.
• Attend meetings as required and ensure profitability of bookings.
