Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Chicago is seeking a Sales Manager to drive group business across the Midwest, aligning with the marketing plan to maximize revenue per available room. You will use direct phone sales, tradeshows and networking to raise the property’s profile and secure corporate and leisure accounts.

You will collaborate with sales and marketing to solicit, sell and confirm group business, exercise independent judgement, and act as a public ambassador for Four Seasons Hotels.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in a similar role and travel is required; domestic and international.
• Strong command of the English language.
• Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell to group market in defined geographic region for the property.
• Generate hotel awareness through direct telesales, direct sales calls, tradeshows and networking groups.
• Work with sales and marketing teams to solicit, sell and confirm group business to meet budgeted sales goals.
• Possess independent judgement and discretion in decision making and handling confidential information.
• Perform and follow up on tasks assigned by Directors of Sales and Directors of Marketing; act as a public ambassador for Four Seasons.
