Job summary

IHG Hotels is seeking a Reservations Specialist to coordinate group bookings, blocks and contracts for large groups in the United States. You will maintain group history, rooming lists, and drive accurate revenue entries in the property management system.

Responsibilities include processing group requests, maintaining files, and communicating with booking contacts. Proficiency with reservation systems and strong English communication are essential; some nights/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of reservationist/front desk experience.
• Fluent English required; additional languages preferred.
• Proficient with computers and reservation systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the reservations, room blocks and contracts for large groups.
• Assist with on-site meetings as needed.
• Maintain group blocks, rooming lists and reservations in system.
• Process group reservation requests, changes and cancellations.
• Enter and modify group blocks to reflect inventory, stay dates and policies.
• Create and update group block notes and coordinate with other departments.
