Job summary

A supportive residential services provider in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Group Home Manager / Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP) to oversee the daily operations of a residential group home. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and delivering high-quality, person-centered services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least two years of experience in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• Must meet qualifications for Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP) under state regulations.
• Minimum 2 years experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the group home.
• Supervise, coach, and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Ensure documentation meets DBHDS and Medicaid waiver standards.
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and rights of individuals supported.
• Participate in ISP meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings.
