Job summary

Higher Heights Home Care Inc. seeks a Qualified Professional (QP) to oversee and coordinate services for residents in a Level III Residential Treatment setting for children and adolescents.

The QP will supervise staff, ensure NC DHHS and Medicaid compliance, and support residents in building independence and community integration. The role includes developing and monitoring Person-Centered Plans, managing documentation, and collaborating with families and providers.

Qualifications

• Must meet NC DHHS requirements for Qualified Professional in MH/IDD/SA.
• Bachelor's degree in a human services field with 2+ years of post-degree experience OR Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience.
• Knowledge of 10A NCA 27.G.1700 standards and Medicaid service definitions preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily services delivery to ensure compliance with NC DHHS and Medicaid requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Person-Centered Plans.
• Supervise and support direct care staff, Paraprofessionals/Associate Professionals.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation progress notes, reviews, incident reports.
• Collaborate with families, guardians, and community providers.
• Provide crisis intervention and participate in on-call rotation.
