Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Executive Meeting Manager to drive group and catering sales and service for smaller blocks and events. You will manage client accounts from initial contact through post-event follow-up to drive re-booking and revenue growth.

The role requires proactive outreach, site visits, contract creation, and close collaboration with Operations to ensure flawless event execution and guest satisfaction.

• Professional demeanor with superb communication skills; including verbal, telephone, and email.

Responsibilities

• Responds to group/catering business opportunities promptly.
• Ensures bookings meet hotel parameters (F&B minimums, space rental fees, menu pricing).
• Conducts hotel site inspections and client presentations.
• Creates contracts and booking documents; maintains client files.
• Prospects for new business through sales blitzes, cold calls, and industry events.
• Builds and maintains strong client relationships.
• Details events including food, beverage, setup, and AV needs, and suggests improvements.
• Prepares group resumes and communicates client needs to all hotel departments.
• Uses negotiation skills to close business; negotiates contracts.
• Ensures assigned contracts/groups are executed effectively; maintains timely communications with clients.
• Greets client/group/event on arrival day to ensure readiness of Hotel Team.
