Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Executive Meeting Manager to drive selling and servicing of group and catering business from all market segments, primarily smaller group blocks and events at Marriott Suites Dulles in Herndon, VA. Manage client accounts from initial contact through post-event follow-up to maximize revenue and re-booking.

Competenze

• Previous hotel sales department experience required, Northern Virginia market knowledge preferred.
• Marriott CI/TY Sales system experience required, specifically BEO detailing experience in CI is a must.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Professional demeanor with superb communication skills; including verbal, telephone, and email.
• Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities, and confidentiality awareness.

• Respond promptly to incoming group/catering opportunities.
• Ensure all business is booked within hotel parameters (F&B minimums, space rental fees, menu pricing).
• Conduct hotel site inspections and client presentations.
• Create contracts and related booking documentation; manage client files.
• Prospect for new business via sales calls, events, and industry networking.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Detail events including food & beverage, setup, and A/V needs; coordinate with operations.
• Create group resumes and communicate client needs to all departments.
• Negotiate contracts and close on business.
• Ensure contracts/groups are executed to the hotel’s capacity.
