Job summary

Concord Hospitality Enterprises Co. seeks a proactive Catering & Sales Manager to generate and book social and corporate events, meeting space, and small guest room blocks. You will focus on prospecting, selling, and securing business while creating exceptional client experiences throughout the sales process.

Some evenings and weekends may be required for engagement and site tours. The role transitions contracted events to an Event Manager for detailing and execution, emphasizing revenue growth

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in hotel sales or events sales.
• Proven ability to generate new business and close deals.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, solicit, and secure social events, corporate meetings, and small group business to achieve revenue goals.
• Sell meeting and event space along with food & beverage opportunities and small guest room blocks.
• Conduct site tours, client meetings, and presentations to showcase the hotel’s offerings.
• Build and maintain relationships with local organizations and community partners.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing within guidelines while maximizing hotel revenue.
• Prepare contracts and turnover information for seamless transition to the Event Management team.
• Collaborate with Event Managers and departments to ensure a smooth handoff.
• Follow up with past clients and leads to generate repeat business.
• Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasts, and client information in CRM.
• Participate in networking events, industry associations, and community outreach.
