Coast Property Management is seeking a dependable Groundskeeper to join our outdoor maintenance team in Springfield, OR. You’ll care for multiple apartment communities, support maintenance tasks, and help keep common areas clean and welcoming for residents and visitors.

This role emphasizes hard work, team collaboration, and pride in creating attractive, safe living spaces. Excellent safety practices and positive communication with residents are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Able to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions with good judgment.
• Familiarity with basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry concepts is preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and appliances is helpful.
• Maintain strong safety practices while performing duties.
• Able to communicate effectively with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Inspect grounds and buildings regularly and report safety or maintenance issues.
• Daily trash collection across the community and common areas.
• Move trash into dumpsters and maintain curb appeal for tours.
• Clean and maintain pool per instructions and keep areas orderly.
• Distribute notices and communications to residents for events and updates.
• Assist with maintenance work orders in apartments and common areas.
• Help with make-ready tasks like painting, carpet cleaning, and basic repairs.
• Assist with snow removal and de-icing as needed.
• Be available for after-hours emergencies when required.
