Job summary

Valiant Residential, LLC is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper to maintain exterior spaces, support the maintenance team, and ensure clean, well-kept grounds daily. Responsibilities include landscaping care, pool area upkeep, and assisting with make-readies.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to perform all required tasks.
• Demonstrate knowledge of work safety habits.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work on call and extended hours, including weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance of all property including community office, model, apartments, and amenity areas.
• Assist team with community functions.
• Pick up litter daily; sweep/blow breezeways; clean around dumpsters.
• Clean vacant apartments; maintain pool areas, laundry room, mail room.
• Assist with pool maintenance and landscape tasks; water plants; maintain sprinkler system.
• Use insecticides, fertilizers, and herbicides as needed; mow, trim, reseed lawns; prune trees and shrubs.
• Make drainage corrections; replace breezeway light bulbs.
• Distribute notices and assist in make-readies as directed.
