Job summary

RPM Living in Cypress, Texas is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the exteriors, landscapes, and common areas of multifamily communities. You will perform grounds work, assist with make-ready units, and ensure a clean, safe property for residents.

This on-site role requires physical stamina, basic office skills, and teamwork with maintenance staff. RPM Living offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 months related experience or training, or equivalent.
• Basic Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Manager and/or Community Manager.
• Thoroughly clean breezeways, power wash, and wipe doors/handrails.
• Execute basic landscaping: trimming, watering, irrigation monitoring.
• Assist in make-ready units, including trash removal from vacant apartments.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to uphold property quality.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate status to residents and supervisors.
• Report supply needs and maintain shop organization.
• Collaborate with maintenance team and external contractors for seamless operations.
• Assess safety and cleanliness standards, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Maintain grounds cleanliness and assist with interior/exterior painting.
