Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain exteriors, grounds, and common areas at multifamily communities. The role includes basic landscaping, cleaning, and assisting with make-ready work to uphold property standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Manager and/or Community Manager including pickup of trash, cleaning dumpster areas, trash rooms and chutes, and power washing.
• Thoroughly clean breezeways by removing cobwebs, bugs in lights, mopping floors, power washing and wiping doors/handrails.
• Perform basic landscaping: trimming, pruning, watering, irrigation monitoring, removing dead branches/leaves/twigs.
• Assist in make-ready units by removing trash from vacant apartments prior to make-ready.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to maintain property quality and safety.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate with residents and team members.
• Report supply needs and maintain shop organization.
• Collaborate with maintenance team and external contractors for smooth operations.
• Assess safety and cleanliness standards to protect residents' well-being.
• Maintain property cleanliness; perform tasks like painting interiors/exteriors as needed.
