Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain grounds, exteriors, and the leasing office areas for our multifamily properties in Texas. You will perform general maintenance tasks, landscaping, trash-out prep, and ensure safety and cleanliness for residents.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months of related experience, and basic Microsoft Office skills. The role may require lifting up to 50 pounds and outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Basic Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Manager and/or Community Manager, including cleaning, trash handling, power washing, and general upkeep.
• Clean breezeways, remove cobwebs, mop floors, power wash, and wipe doors/handrails.
• Perform basic landscaping tasks: trimming, pruning, watering, irrigation monitoring, and debris removal.
• Assist in make-ready prep for vacant units, including trash removal prior to turnover.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to uphold property quality and safety.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate progress to residents and team members.
• Report supplies and keep the shop organized; collaborate with maintenance and external contractors.
