Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the interior and exterior common areas of the property in Texas. The role covers custodial tasks, grounds work, basic repairs, and assist in make-ready units to ensure readiness for new residents.

You will follow safety guidelines, operate maintenance equipment, and respond to on-call maintenance needs as required by the community. This employer offers robust benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or related experience.
• General knowledge in skilled trades: carpentry, drywall, basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular custodial duties around the property: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal.
• Complete grounds work: trash pickup, cleaning dumpster areas, power washing, debris removal.
• Clean breezeways: remove cobwebs, wash doors, wipe handrails.
• Basic landscaping: trimming, pruning, watering, irrigation checks.
• Prepare units for occupancy (make-ready) and remove trash from vacant apartments.
• Operate power washer, blowers, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and related tools.
