Job summary

Pike Electric LLC seeks a Groundman to support the construction and maintenance of overhead electrical distribution systems. You will assist the crew under the Foreman, perform rigging, handle tools, and participate in safety protocols.

You will work outdoors in diverse weather, travel as needed, and be ready for outages, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. This entry-level position offers growth within a national utility services provider.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required with ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Prepared to work extended hours, weekends, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction, maintenance of overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, and related hardware.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and environments, including outages and emergencies.
