Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Groundman to support construction and maintenance of overhead electrical distribution systems. You will assist the team, report to the Foreman, and participate in on-site work across various weather conditions.

The role emphasizes safety, physical labor, and willingness to travel, with opportunities to grow into more advanced linework positions within our nationwide utility projects.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required; ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift/carry/pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work at locations including out-of-state assignments.
• Willing to work outside normal hours including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, and conductors.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and outages including on-call rotations.
• Follow safety protocols including PPE use and ensuring PPE readiness.
