Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Groundman to support the construction, repair and maintenance of overhead electrical distribution systems. You will work under a Foreman, performing physical tasks, equipment maintenance, and site readiness while prioritizing safety.

You must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a CDL within 60 days. Travel and extended hours are required, with on‑call availability for outages and storms.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license; ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.
• Commitment to safety and PPE protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building, repairing, and maintaining overhead electrical distribution systems.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE usage at all times.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good condition.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and overtime including outages and emergencies.
• Travel to job sites as required and report to the Foreman.
