Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Groundman to support teams in building, repairing and maintaining overhead electrical distribution systems. You will report to the Foreman and perform physically demanding outdoor work, including storms and outages.

The position emphasizes safety, timely travel to assignments, and adherence to PPE requirements while supporting the power grid infrastructure nationwide.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License is required and ability to obtain a CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside regular hours, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Help install and repair power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment and tools in good condition.
• Work outdoors in varied environmental conditions and during outages or emergencies.
• Follow safety protocols including PPE use and insulated protective equipment.
