Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Groundman to support construction, repair, and maintenance of overhead electrical distribution systems. You will assist the crew under the Foreman and perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in all weather conditions.

The role requires a valid driver's license with the ability to obtain a CDL within 60 days, willingness to travel, and readiness for on-call emergencies and overtime. Safety and PPE use are prioritized.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform rigorous physical labor.
• Valid driver's license; ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Willing to work outside regular hours, including weekends and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Help install and repair power lines, poles, insulators, conductors, and related hardware.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order.
• Perform duties outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.
• Participate in on-call rotation for outages and emergencies.
• Follow PPE protocols and safety standards at all times.
